![Album image #27 Album image #27](/albums/img/4/1/2/1184412-37066-12-720.jpg)
When I carefully removed the decal film, the film was intact and only the ink was attached to the masking tape.
![Album image #28 Album image #28](/albums/img/4/1/5/1184415-37066-68-720.jpg)

![Album image #53 Album image #53](/albums/img/7/4/9/1185749-37066-46-720.jpg)

I found that the tamiya tape did not give me a clean edge
Paint bleads under it I am going to try frog tape

Maybe i think, I am concerned that the adhesive force will not be strong for use in models.
If the masking tape is old, or if dust adheres to the side during storage, the edges will be not clean.
If the surface to be masked is flat and uncomplicated, I recommend masking film.

I bugth some tamiya tape and used it a few days later and found bleading paint
I have used frogtape before
not on models
But to me it looks like its better
So I will give it a go
It you use frogtape you need to rub the tape on hard
It dosent stick like Tamiya does
But I will let you know how I go

I've found Tamiya tape can be a bit hit & miss around the edges. I thought it was just me doing it wrong!

Always interesting to hear what experiences others have
And I think in this build ms k has had some of the problems I have seen for myself
And I know the tape was very new
I also noticed the problem whed bleeding in other people's builds
Specaly on taping up clears
And also noticed it on people masking up for stripes
So I think its more miss then hit lol

It looks like the tape took the clear and the ink with it... Most unusual and a shame as the build was really looking good so far. Please save her!
