Sooo, after applying the yellow, on this shot, well it seems to be yellow....
![Album image #2 Album image #2](/albums/img/2/9/8/1248298-97204-40-720.jpg)
...and the final product of the group build weekend looks like green... which it turned out to be(with almost no weathering, highlighting, etc.) 1

![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/2/6/8/1249268-97204-23-720.jpg)
After I got home, I started to work on the ramp (xps, with balsa sides)
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/2/7/1/1249271-97204-51-720.jpg)
As you can see, the base is from xps (supplied with the diorama base from Buco Model Base), here it is covered in AMMO Mig Muddy Ground acrylic paste. It does have a nice texture!
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/2/6/9/1249269-97204-51-720.jpg)
The full ground painted with some brown, dunno which though. You can see the base supplied xps fits perfectly.
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/2/7/0/1249270-97204-40-720.jpg)
Added AK dark earth pigment, mixed with water. I did this to match the mud on the model.
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/2/7/2/1249272-97204-75-720.jpg)
Position check.
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/2/7/3/1249273-97204-68-720.jpg)
Applied a mixture of different color grass, shorter threads were also put into the mix.
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/2/7/4/1249274-97204-41-720.jpg)
It was too uniform, so I put some yellow flowers on.
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/2/7/5/1249275-97204-61-720.jpg)
Heyyy, nice ass! Painted the rear lights, first with Vallejo silver, then with Tamiya clear red. Also the side prisms were painted the same way, and were cut from thin plastic sheet.
![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/2/7/6/1249276-97204-70-720.jpg)
Since it still wasn't interesting enough visually, I made these guiding poles from 0.5x0.5 plastic rods, and hand painted with Vallejo Game Color gory red (the white is not painted, because I'm a very lazy man... 🙂)
![Album image #14 Album image #14](/albums/img/2/7/7/1249277-97204-34-720.jpg)
Added the water with AK still water. But a friend pointed out, that the surrounding area should also be muddy, from the splashes. Hell, he was so right! Again, watery mix of the AK pigment was used by a brush.
![Album image #15 Album image #15](/albums/img/2/7/8/1249278-97204-15-720.jpg)
Fixed the vehicle to the ground with a small nail superglued to the bottom, then sitcked into the base.
![Album image #16 Album image #16](/albums/img/2/7/9/1249279-97204-38-720.jpg)
Added the antenna (melted sprue), and the almost final composition was ready.
![Album image #17 Album image #17](/albums/img/2/8/0/1249280-97204-51-720.jpg)
Rear view.
![Album image #18 Album image #18](/albums/img/2/8/1/1249281-97204-46-720.jpg)
The thick mud on the BTR was created by pigment mixed with AK pigment fixer, then applied with a toothpick. Additional weathering was done by dry pigments, and sprinkling brown acrylic paint.
![Album image #19 Album image #19](/albums/img/2/8/2/1249282-97204-75-720.jpg)
Before she went to the PSMK competition, red and white (these are from freal plants) flowers were added to make it more eye-catching.
![Album image #20 Album image #20](/albums/img/2/8/3/1249283-97204-60-720.jpg)
Was really surprised by the gold medal!
![Album image #21 Album image #21](/albums/img/2/8/4/1249284-97204-59-720.jpg)
And today didaster struck... was going to show the model to the club in Békéscsaba, but the nail let go, the BTR then became a cannonball...

But I managed to restore it. The jumping angle is not correct tho, but it will stay this way now.
