Painted!
And varnished!
Weathering was a little bit of a bumpy ride but it's done. Still need to rig it and add the jack and ensign.

My grandfather served aboard the tender USS Orion during the Second World War. Because there is no model kit of her in existence, and I'm no good at scratchbuilding whole models, this is my own little tribute to him and his service.
