Album image #1
Only some wires are added. This isnt easy to build and is also not very accurate. But it does the job and this is my first try At something like this.

Album image #22
Looking alright.

Album image #23
Not perfect. But not to bad for a first try. I really need to measure the stripes correctly next time. And the white application also needs some work.

Album image #24
I'm really happy with the chipping. I used liquid mask applied with a sponge.

Album image #25
Still alot of work to do.

Album image #26

The spinner is also finish.

Album image #36
The invasion stripes are faded and weathered with multiple oil paints.

Album image #37
Engine fitted. This was one of the hardest parts to fit I have ever done. I dont recomment this kit of you want to display the engine. The construction is hard and de detail is not even good.

Thanks Rui and Guy. This was a hard build with lots of thinks I never tried before. The result is decent and I learned alot.

Thanks Andy and Phil. And yes a clipped wing spit looks a bit different form the normal wings. It also leaves some more space on the shelf🙂

Album info

This kit provides a lot of options to make almost every version of the Spitfire mk-IX. I Will make a 4 cannon Spitfire with open Merlin engine and clipped wings. This Will also be my first real camo scheme with the air brush.
