USS Excelsior NX-2000 AMT 1/1000
I fill up the holes with UV resin. I have to drill more than 200 holes, only in the saucer section. ?
40 holes more
I use aluminium tape to block the lights.
I cut pieces of a 1,2mm Brass Pipe and glue them in the holes i drill.
I glue some SMD leds in the pipes 0,5x1mm
Gaps ?
I use two white Sheets to block the light, so you dont have ugly Led spots at the exhaust.
The result seems pretty good...
I use 1mm Fiber optics.
After filling and sanding the gaps on the saucersection.
I lost the last decals, ?so i have to do it old school
I use 0,75mm fibers and UV Resin in the oval windows
I have to sanding the marks out of the clear parts, this kit ist Not good ?

jan zumackThanks to you guys, this was a hard Projekt. The Kit was one of the worst i've ever build. I kill the Impulse light ( to much Volt ), i wont buy the aztec decals, but they so expensiv, so i do with paint. At the end i am really proud of the final Product. Thanks for all of your support.

jan zumackHi Robert, for the saucer, i use the decals from the Kit. The Windows at the belly are drawing with hand and drill out, because i lost the decals😅.
