Škoda Turtle
An unusual vehicle from the 1930's.
I haven't painted black lines between each colour, only because I'm not certain I'd not make an un-tidy mess of it. Perhaps one day....
Very simple transmission, and no interior except for the four machine guns.
One can choose either exposed headlights, or fit domed covers.
Dark grey with a little black, a small brush, and lots of care...and the lines are added.
For size comparison.....

Many thanks for your 'likes' Alex and Djordje. It's a strange beast.....

Many thanks for your compliments, both 😉 It needs a street scene and figures to provide an idea of scale - it really is a big lump 🙂

Can you share the length in 1:35? I 3d printed one but had trouble getting accurate prototype dimensions to scale it. It seems really big.

Many thanks, Guy. Ben, I'll update a couple of piccies. Let me know if you need proper dimensions, or more piccies.

Oh perfect, thank you! I will measure my resin print and see how close I got to proper 1:35 scale.

Mines about 1cm shorter than yours. Close enough I guess. It sure is a surprisingly huge vehicle.

Probably be quite intimidating to see that coming round the corner, Ben 😉

It's time this one is re-visited, black lines required. Now, where did I put those steady hands? 😉

You have to give Hobbyboss credit for the job they did on the single piece moulding of the hull on this kit. Barely a parting line to be seen. If I'm feeling brave when I get around to building it, I'll use a black Gundam marker to line the camo.

Welcome, John. I used a small brush with long bristles, and it went quite well. I'm taking the view that the real vehicles would have been hand-printed too, so the odd slip is fine 😉

Many thanks, Neuling. Not many parts to this kit, but I was hooked by this very unusual vehicle. Four very detailed machine guns are all but hidden inside.
