Album info

The Me262 HG III was a projected version that, thanks to better aerodynamics and more powerful engines, should reach a significantly higher speed than the standard variant.

The 1/48 scale kit from Amusing Hobby shows nice details and a good fit.
Unfortunately there is neither a harness nor cockpit fittings, not even as a decal!

The large and clearly visible main landing gear shaft is almost completely empty, there I added various components and lines based on the model of the "262".

The on-board weapons were made from steel tubes and parts of a Trimaster Me262.

It was painted with Vallejo metal paint and Gunze supplied the camouflage paint.
I didn't like the painting options of the kit, so I plotted airbrush masks of my own idea.
