Steady progress. Good idea for the roofs, so it can be done, with and without. Keep on going. 👍

Looking good so far.
But I think you should remove all those "Nuppsies" on the Miniart walls.

I'm liking the overal composition of your creation, Ruben. A sharp scalpel will remove those small projections (possibly on the cobbles too), so don't stress about them. The roofs look great, so I'm looking forward to how you build up colours on the walls, etc. Did you check out the How To videos on the Mini-Art website? Good luck with the next steps in this interesting project.

Hi Bruce, thanks! No I did not, and probably should have 😅 This project has been a serious process of (self)realisation.
I look some stuff up... try stuff out... fail, I mean 'learn how not to' and soldier on.. I have a clear view of how I want it to end (not perfect, not masterclass, but "real"...) and I do this during the moments I find the time and inspiration. I really don't like the painting part of the hobby, but I'm at a point where I need to if I want to continue building haha. but at least I'm getting somewhere..
I took out most of the small "nuppsies" as suggested by my father and Christoph, and started working on filling gaps with Tamiya putty (love the product), so my diorama base is getting form

Album info

This is a project I'm working on, because my father is an avid modeller.

With this (timeless) project, I'm trying to spend more time with him, sharing a hobby and connecting together again.
While this will probably be a never-ending work, I do want to log my process, since I do like to model (but hate to paint).

The idea that was formed based on my profession as a ER-nurse: a farm that is being re-used as a "Feldlazarett". Because not all warriors fight with their weapons. I want to show that some of us do what we can with the limits we are bound to, crossing all other differences. An ambulance is being used as a "first aid post" while the rest of the resources are coming in. But so are the victims of an seemingly endless war...

Thank you all for the support and hints, they are greatly appreciated!
