TMM GarageWow, I found another unknown VW T3 kit online and added it to Scalemates 😛. I didn't think there were any unknown sets left.

TMM GarageI noticed that there are 2 types of this kit, one has gray plastic, and the other has red plastic. Sets made of gray can be found on eBay, for example, in Germany and other European countries. And the sets made of red plastic are sold only on ebay in Great Britain.
This is just an interesting fact that I noticed, maybe we need to make two sets on Scalemates? Because I'm not sure about it, because the kits differ only in the color of the plastic and nothing else.

TMM GarageMost likely, "NEW TOOLED PARTS" is just a board on the roof😅.
I wouldn't be surprised if Revell used this 3D model as a reference:

TMM GarageThe box says 78 or 79 parts, and the 2022 edition says 77 parts, so apart from the roof board I doubt there will be any more parts. I think the lower grille will be made as a decal.
But in any case, there will be good decals, you will not need to create your own. It will still be a cool set.👍
This set will be a great base for creating the perfect replica.

D. NinetalisThey could still be taking out some parts and replace them with others though, which would skew the number parts, they've done that before. If you look at the parts layout, the lower grille is not difficult to replace with a new part. That said, they have replaced with a decal before, so it is true that most likely they will do that.

TMM GarageYes, it is possible to change a part, the layout of parts allows it, but it is unlikely that Revell will make new forms.
I like the fact that there will be good decals in this kit. At least I hope so... Hopefully they'll at least get the "Volkswagen" and "Vanagon GL" trunk lettering right.
