Hand-painted wooden prop. Dark color first, followed by the lighter color BRUSHED on. After the enamel dried for 3 hours, I used a brush dampened with Mr. Color Leveling Thinner to feather-out the painted brush strokes into a much more realistic wood grain pattern.
She’s finally complete and going to her new owner next week. I built it for a coworker on commission as a tribute to his grandfather who flew them in Navy flight training during WWII.
