E.B.F.D.N. - "Einen bessern findst du nicht"

"Einen bessern findst du nicht" means "you won't find a better one". This is the second row of the famous German soldiers song "Ich hatt' einen Kameraden"/"I had a comrade" and has been used as the book title of a war time novel written by a German soldier named Walter Düpmann.

He told his own story during the war when he met a young idealistic Lieutenant who became his best friend - but tragically did not survive.
I read this book first time when I was a child and I read it 50 times for sure since then.

This book inspired me to several modelling projects, which I try to finish one by one.
