F-4G Wild Weasel

After reading the book 'Magnum! The Wild Weasel in Desert Storm', I had to build one of these. After waiting for a few years Meng and Zoukei-Mura both announced new F-4G kits. As soon as the Meng kit arrived I started building. The kit certainly has it's weaknesses and errors, but overall it was a joy to assemble. Fit and details was excellent. Especially in the areas around the air intakes. For weapons I decided against the four HARMs, that you see on most of the pictures. On the internet I found pictures of a loadout with with two HARM missiles and four CBU-87 on triple ejector racks, which I found much more interesting. Biggest disappointment were the kit decals which just did not contrast against the Medium Gunship Gray. So I had to order one of the excellent decal sets from Speed Hunter Graphics, which worked beautifully.
