I just finished my first model. Since it is the first model, I didn't want to use much material and paint. I use only 3 colors(Tamiya X-32, XF-1, XF-62). I don't want to get an airbrush yet, I want to try few more models with a brush. So, I'm open to tips/tricks for brush. I used Mr Surfacer 1000 as a primer only on the body and propeller. And I used Vallejo Matt Varnish. The 5th and 6th pics are before the varnish.
The most difficult part for me was the glass. I left a lot of dirt on when I putting them. And another problem is that I mix the paint with thinner in the paint stirrer, but the paint starts to solidifying/thickening after 15 min and if I use like that, it leaves rough on the model. When painting the 2nd coat, brush removed the old coat in some places. I guess because of the thinner. So, for the 2nd coat and after, I think I need to thin it with water instead thinner. I'm open to all criticism and suggestions.
