Retirement approaches and it’s time to rekindle a much-loved hobby! Over 40 years of work, life and family have kept my once prolific and passionate diversion languishing on the backburner, but not anymore! The trouble is where do I start? I have some stash and some ideas, but I can hardly pick up where I left off in my early 20’s. To say the craft has evolved somewhat would be a massive understatement. But never mind, undaunted I shall bring myself up to speed with the mind-boggling choice of tools, materials, paints and aftermarket media now available to the aspiring modeler, not to mention the astonishing techniques that some individuals are now applying in order to create their staggering works of art.
