60+ year old model-a-holic with more hobbies than time allows. I always start getting nervous when the stash of kits start getting under triple digits.

While any genre of kit is fair game to hit the bench, currently Naval related models seem to be at the top of the building list. While ship kits in plastic and card are what catches my eye for the most part, the odd aircraft kit such as sea and float planes also attract my attention. As my nickname suggests, I was into building armor when I first discovered model websites and forums. While styrene is more the norm over on this side of the pond, I have also discovered the joy of building card model kits which are every bit as detailed if not more so than plastic. Usually the card model kits are available in much larger scale sizes which allow for an even greater amount of detailing possibilities.
