'90 Mustang LX 5.0 Drag Racer

I have done this kit before and really enjoyed it. However, it was my 2nd kit ever and the outcome was not up to my standards but now after years I am more experienced and ready to tackle this thing head-on!

I have run into a bit of a pickle. I am not used to using tamiya paints and forgot they do not act like enamels and when I masked off the windows trim the tape peeling some paint back in some areas really badly. I am out of that exact paint color so I accepted this and in classic Bob Ross fashion I changed this from a pristine drag racer to a old drag racer in a WIP restoration. I repainted over the damaged areas in flat red at around 25 PSI to give it that spray can look and also weathered the headlights nothing major.

Bob HallWooo Hoo ! A pony lad after my own heart. You going box art on it or going to put your own spin on it, can't go wrong with a Fox body, I recently finished like my sixth one !
Karl R.I think I'm going to do kinda middle of the road in between the box art and stock. I'm thinking gray metallic with blacked out wheels with the drag stickers on the windows.

Karl R.Yup, I saw that looks great! Love the caprice model you did too. I own a 1987 Caprice (the generation before your model) so I have a sweet spot for those guys too!

Karl R.The bronco is up right now in albums! They sadly don't have Caprice models of my generation but they have one of the generation before and I have been debating doing an old crown vic as a retired police interceptor. I also have a sqaurebody model right now but I'm not very proud of it might redo it one of these days
