DAUNTING Project! I need to find info on painting Photo etched parts, because 'Bright Brass' is not a color in evidence on this plane! I know how to paint the gun kit, but not the interior details! ARRRRRGH!

Cockpit interiors were dark gull gray with flat black seats. Wheel wells were usually white, I bought the Hobby Boss PE cockpit set to use in mine. I use a lot of the Hasegawa, PE sets in my Revell models, they work good.

You can also get resin seats for it. I think on early versions the gear struts were painted aircraft grey with white wheels. Later versions were painted with white struts and wheels. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info....I got some HR Pics on the Unites States Air Force Museum site of the cockpit site, and the backing color of the cockpit interior looks like it's a light blue-grey, but the eduard's PE set is bright brass with light brown printing on it....all the outer areas can generally be painted whatever the area looks like in pix I've found. Just got two books today, The Squadron/Signal A-10 Walk Around, and Reid Publications A-10 Thunderbolt II: 21st Century Warthog, By Neil Dunridge. Both excellent books, while Neil's is mostly Sqdrn logos and not much detail, interior or Exterior, it's excellent for those Sqdrn info, I noticed that most of the newer pic depict the Warthogs in Ghost Grey (light and dark) camo. The Walk Around is where details are found both inside and outside, though the cockpit is better covered by the USAF museum HR pics. I'll check out the Hasegawa PE sets also....thanks again!!! 😄

I have both of those colors in the Model Master line....Bought them for my V-22 Osprey in 1:48 I have to check out the Gull grey for the interior, I was thinking of The U.S./British Pale Blue-Grey suggested for some Naval aircraft in WW II lines..... 😄

Dark Gull Grey is what most instructions call for, that is what I use most of the time. I use a lot of MM both acrylic and enamel.

Yeah, I just started using Acrylic this summer....I'm very into 'tried and true' stuff, and finally had a pal in the Hobby Shop realm tell me to try them to get the backround effect in car grills with black acrylic and use damp cloth to wipe off the chrome part for good effect...haven't tried that yet either...doing "Rommel's Rod" by Tom Daniels...
