One of the very first kits I received as a youngster, say, 1960-62 or thereabouts. Purchased no doubt from the venerable Palisades Hobby Shop, Pacific Palisades, California.
This Bachmann kit is a beautiful rendition of a classic box physique; I am wondering if this Bachmann release was a exterior-only version of Renwal's VISIBLE DOG kit?
The Visible Dog (Renwal 806-398, 1:5)
Max'sModels' excellent YouTube video on the Renwal company mentions that those excellent Renwal figures apparently were originally sculpted by a masterful Italian artist who had immigrated to New York.
Sadly my built Bachmann kit is MIA -- last seen on a secure shelf, in a place of honor I'd made in my parents' home only just a few years ago. Now sadly missing. Household help thought it would make a nice toy?
Ugh!
