If I'm not mistaken, based on photos of built ups of this kit, the tracks sag between the return rollers. The Sherman had "Live Tracks" that required tensioning so that there wasn't any sag. This prevented a thrown track during turning maneuvers. Crews were trained to keep the tracks properly tensioned. You might see sagging tracks on a display Sherman that was dropped off for the display and never set up properly. If you look at photos of Shermans in action or restored tanks that are runners, you will probably not find any with sagging tracks. I'm guessing that the person researching the tank for creating the molds got their information from a badly set up display vehicle. They certainly did little to no research beyond that. Avoid this particular kit if you have any interest in having a properly represented Sherman replica.
