MariusGreat progress, it will be a great model at the end. Is that the Aires resin cockpit set for the F-4F which you adapted?

@Marius : I had the SBS Models resin kit in stock for the Revell kit. This kit is well detailed but complicated to place in the Phantom. I recommend the Aires Kit, much superior in every way 😉

Robert PodkońskiWatching with interest - I have mine build "on hold" - I have noticed that either the side walls of the engines' shroud are to low, or the rear bulkhead (on which the exhausts are installed) is too high... What's your solution here?

I don't think I did a good job.
I just used cutting, sanding, puttying , and strong adhesive to find a way to stick them all together.
In fact, I am always in a state of wanting to give up. 😛

Robert PodkońskiThanks for your reply, Tzonglin Wu 🙂 Your photos tell quite the opposite story...but I understand you well - I am back to this kit from time to time, attaching few pieces or sanding.., and then it resides quietly on a shelf for few days, or weeks...

servalpe@Lukasz, this kit is not bad. I have done some scratch, like seat belts, collective pitch levers, panel and console due to missing details on cockpit. The Hobby Boss SH/HH-60 family is the good one 😉

Igor KondrashenkovKit is absolutely fantastic. parts so nicely fits together ... minimum sanding work no issues with clear parts fitting (although clear plastic is a bit soft in my opinion, so requires extra care).. detailing is amazing, (almost 450 parts plus I've used several photoetched kits mostly for interior, which added more realism), very thin and crisp panel lines and rivets - ... model is almost finished, so I can surely recommend it ... several words about the engine - it is very detailed and can be done with a great level of realism., so it could easily be treated as a separate model kit 🙂
