Well, I'm not really a fan of zombie/apocalypse things etc... but I DO love the creative use of that good ol' Airfix Matador 👍 👍 - and smiled at the "Carburants Bastide" sign... I like this Matador very much...

Thankss Robert! This model occured to be quite problematic. Especially the tracka - they do not fit the front wheels and need adjustement (it will be visible on one of the photos).

This an absolutely TERRIBLE kit! It looks like a Chinese (Mister Craft?) knock-off of the Tamiya kit, complete with diagrams that look like they've been copied from the Tamiya instructions. Unfortunately, they didn't copy the parts! The kit quality was horrible, very little detail, and what detail was there looked like it was scribed in with a chisel. Landing gear struts molded into the L.G. doors, a laughable ejection seat that looks NOTHING like the depiction in the instructions, and really crappy soft plastic with a really rough surface. Still, I got it for the livery (Starblazers) and decided to do it anyway. That is, until I started decaling and found the decals SO fragile, that they shattered as soon as I laid them down and tried to position them. The four wing panel decals each had several cracks running through them even before I started to cut them off the sheet. I'm going to try to find a better Starblazers decal sheet, but quite frankly, it's not worth wasting it on this kit. Mister Craft's F-84G has been consigned to the waste basket. I won't be purchasing any more kits from this Chinese P.o.S. manufacturer! I'll get another Tamiya kit instead!

Yes, indeed a terrible kit. The kit seems to be a copy of the very old FROG kit, and the molds are still used and re-issued by several POLISH brands , including Mistercraft, Big Model etc. with equally poor decals. The Tamiya kit is by far the best, but is sold out almost everywhere. The Academy/Italeri is also good but hard to find, The heller kit is obsolete too. Have a look at my album : Thunderjet comparative build : Thunderjet comparative build | Album by opadesmet (1:72)

I feel your pain. Out of the two Mister Craft kits that I have tried (a Harrier and a SU-20), both had horrible mismatch between the instructions and the parts that were actually included. The Harrier kit even had the wrong amount of pieces advertised on the box (over 30 pieces less than advertised). You really get what you pay for with this brand.

mister craft kits are a very mixed bag. Some of them , like the thunderjet, are poor copies of very old (50 years +) kits. Some are reissues of older KP kits , but their fouga magister is apparently a reboxing of the Heller kit with their decals. btw their decals are mostly of poor quality, inaccurate & incomplete. But if you have spare decals e.g. from a Special Hobby kit, some of their kits like the fouga, maybe a cheap alternative. Here at scalemates , you can always check the product timeline to find the ancestors of a kit, and a vendor like super hobby shows the content of the kit on their website so that you can know what to expect before buying.

Erik, I know. I use the Scalemates database frequently. This was just one of those impulse buys. I was searching EBay for kits to complete my Thunderbirds collection and this one popped up. I hadn't heard of the Skyblazers before, so decided to pick it up. I've built a lot of 'marginal' kits in the past, so I usually don't worry about that. I can still build them, and if they're sub-standard but of a unique subject, that's fine with me. But this kit was SO bad, that when the decals started disintegrating, there was no point in even keeping the kit. That's the first time in 65+ years of model building, that I've tossed a kit without completing it!
