Roland SachsenhoferI am pleased to be able to present the second Junkers F.13 to you. This pleasure is fuelled by the fact that these are not tricky kits - on the other hand, the variety provided by the corrugated sheet metal was great fun and, important to say, these are not bad kits! The one thing I now realise is that with the corrugated metal-work you have to plan exactly what you are going to do and when. In any case, I can only recommend this MikroMir kit! Thank you for your interest and your valuable and motivating comments!

John KauckThank you. I built the USS Enterprise CVAN-65 in 1/720, then one of each aircraft from CVW-9 in 1/72 and put each on a similar base. The deck cards are Uschi (which reminds me to add them to stash) on plywood bases from Hobby Lobby.

Roland SachsenhoferI hum Hans Albers all the time: 'Flyer, greet me the sun, greet me the stars and ....' The reason: the two Junkers F.13s were finished today! I'll show you the results in two galleries attached to this project. The F-13 'Annelise', in its original form an altitude record machine from 1919 and semi-legal 'Moscow Flyer' can be seen here first. The construction is not for the faint-hearted and perfection in the final result is not to be found here. But as the saying goes: ' Greet me the sun, the stars and the moon.... ' 🙂

Roland SachsenhoferThank you very much for your motivating feedback! I am really pleased that you like it! Indeed, 'Economy' and 'Business class' for pilots and passengers! The two pilots were actually sitting outside, exposed to the airflow, the cold and also to whatever the BMW or Jumo was emitting!
