When you update an album or the author makes a comment, it no longer moves up the news feed, which is stupid. No one will notice the updates because they get lost at the bottom.

strange, I just commented in two albums, and I could see them on top of the newsfeed.
anyway, bugs are to be reported (if I am not mistaken) in "Feature request" instead of "Data suggestions"

@ CaptGPF, Thank you for your comment. I hope you liked that Wicked 😄 😉 this Is an old project that is on hold as well as the photos. I hope to take better photos and complete it.
@ Mr James Thank you for your Nice words. I hope you also liked that Wicked 😄 The tree is a bonsai that had died, I cut some leaves because they were too big. If I remember correctly, I spread small wood shavings and other natural ones that I had in my vegetation stash on the ground.
Also, I thank the new likes. Apreciated

I'm very happy to say that I've returned to my mancave this weekend after a to long hiatus.
So to start I preferred a lighter job, although painting horses is not, in my opinion, easy.

@Alec, Thank you for your kind words and support. It is always great for me to receive such encouragement, even more so, when they come from a master modeler.
@Doubtingmango thx mate, I agree with you., but hey, I can only return to my bench on weekends, só it Will take some time to finish. For me the most important thing was getting my mojo back.
@Gorby, Thank you very much my friend, for your motivational words. They are always very important to me.
The horse will still improve, I hope. At least that's what I'll try to do without ruining all the work that has already been done 🤔 😉

@Landlubber Mike. Thank you for your comment. Glad you like this one
@Desert Marlin, I know whar you mean. I've been hesitating about highlights with a soft airbrush of satin black or satin varnish on the most exposed surfaces. I hadn't thought about copper. But yes, it will have to have some shine.
@Ben M, Hahaha. Thank you. Your comment with a triple meaning has made me laugh several times, but in my defense I can tell you that this horse It is known as having the strength of an elephant and bites like a tiger. That's why they nicknamed him tiger elephant. 😄

Agree with hiveloc. That desert camo pattern is so very well done. I'm thinking of the hours spent on this figure alone, not to mention the rest of the masterpiece.

Thanks a lot Mr James, also for the many kind likes. Much appreciated from you. - The American uniform desert camouflage of the 90s was a challenge, but modeller friendly. With the new digital camouflage patterns however I cannot cope. Some trial and error, but no satisfying result yet.

Maybe this technique might work:
Uniform base coat. Then application of the various colors that make up the rest of the pattern with a very stiff brush (cheapest bristle brush) that is dipped perpendicular into a very shallow puddle of color. Stipple off as much color so that you are left with individual dots from each bristle. Then tap the figure.
I used this method for my scale 1:72 canadian soldiers and was quite happy with the overall effect.

Michael, I watched your album again, picture 115 shows the uniforms well, for scale 1/72 a very good effect. I´ve tried your method now for the figures of my new diorama "Baqubah 2006", important seemed to me avoiding to pick up to much and to wet paint with the brush.

Nice to read that my suggestion worked for you too. I should have added this information, but obviously you figured it out yourself. Yes, pick up small amounts only of undiluted paint. I am anxious about the result.

I very much admire your work Jörg. You show what an expert can do with the 1:200 scale. Adding crew also makes a big difference for large scale ships. You make me consider building a 1:200 ship but first I must improve my skills and train my patience for a year or longer project 🙂

Thanks for the comments everyone. I'm glad you like the pot.
Chrisswe. That's right, the crew breathes life and depth into the model and also illustrates what a large ship this is.
