It is funny that the box art for this and the M8 Greyhound appear to tell the story of an engagement between them, where the kit you purchase is the victor.

I've already got the decals for this conversion, which came with markings for a PV-1, F6F-3N & TBM-3D. However the kit I picked up for the possible conversion is pretty interesting in & of itself. (Although the price made me want to vomit blood...) Either way I go it's an absolute MUST to get the Aires 7001 & 7007 detail sets. (Yes I know that's for a TBF/TBM-1C but if you don't tell I won't tell.) Honestly I was really disappointed in Hasegawa's rendition of the TBF/TBM. Although it's almost 30 years old we were starting to see a lot of nice detail in our kits at that time; It just seems like they rushed it & settled for standards that were already obsolete.
