1/35 Tamiya Panther Ausf. A
Got this kit for $24. Although I have 15 other kits in-progress, I really wanted to build something again since all the rest are past the construction phase
All in all, a nice low parts count. I like the choice of decals, especially the barrel ring kills and division emblems
This old Tamiya 1970s Panther is as big as the recent ICM King Tiger. Definitely overscaled
Construction is done. I’m so used to building in 1/72 that the size difference with 1/35 still blows me away
Primer coat of Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500 Black (spray can)
Added some Vallejo Model Air RLM75. At first things went well, but later I suffered extensive dry tip issues despite using Vallejo Flow Improver. Not sure if I should add another thin coat of paint to the model to unify everything, or move onto spraying green and black
Green paint added
Tracks added, but touchups remain to be done to them. I hate these rubber/vinyl tracks

Thank you, I was able to build most of it in an hour but I had a major hiccup: I wasn't precise in joining the barrel half's together, so I had to cut down the muzzle brake's insides some. Of course I overdid it and made it no longer round. A lost two hours trying to fix it without much success
