Beautiful model, man! Congrats. Now I've got an itch to build my Hornets.
Album info
I have keep this kit since 12 years ago when I was about to graduate from college. I bought many aircraft models for reference because I wanted to design sci-fi aircraft in the future. For some reason I have not approach my goal. I backed my hometown during new year and find this dust covered box from my grand parent's storage. I decide to complete this kit and those kits I collected as well as reviving the dream of designing airplanes.
This kit is good for its price. I don't have much choice for a F/A-18E/F 12 years ago. Detail is good. However the instruction drawings are too simple. I have hard time to locate some parts and decals. If you are going to build one, you HAVE TO FIND A HASEGAWA INSTRUCTION FOR REFERENCE. I check almost every single instructions of this VFA-102, includes aftermarket decals, the hasegawa is the most correct one to follow.
