That's unreal mate!
A buddy of mine had one, only his had the Cloverleaf wheels on. It was fast as f@#k! I always remember the sound of the dump valve kicking in. How he never killed himself in that, I'll never know? 100+mph, everywhere!
Thanks for bringing back the memories mate, and congratulations on another superb replica 👍

The ignition coil mounted on the firewall, was that in the kit or a detail up part or scratchbuilt?

The coil was from the kit. Aside from the engine, the only engine bay parts I added were the air cleaner and vacuum reservoir. The expansion bottle and washer bottle were separated from each other to be placed in the correct spots as well.

Super. Thank you for the hint to it in your Jeep Grand Cherokee gallery. I llike it. As you mentioned, it is called "Ford Sierra XR4i" in Germany. It is kinda funny, that Mercury left the blue oval on it and changed the Ford-letters to a singn which I never will have connected to Mercury. I didn't even know, that the Ford was sold as a Mercury. Depends on my "this car was cool that day but I don't inform me about it". It is a car, I still like to see today. I can't remember, when I saw the last on the streets. They are really rare.
Like it! The little dusty engine compartment and undercarriage are exactly my taste. My question is (and forgive me, if it is already written above): did you do the decals by yourself and where are the rims borrowed of? They are not included in the kit - I now informed me about the kit 😄

Thanks Christian, glad you enjoyed!

The Merkur diamond, XR4Ti badge, and license plate were all home printed, while the rear Merkur badge was made using some silver railroad lettering. The wheels are 3D printed, I did my best to replicate one of the factory options available at the time.
