Sea Harrier FRS.1
Painting a pilot figure for the first time. Never thought it would be actually fun.
added some eyes
Harrier Engine, I will cover it later
Cockpit side panels, very minimal detail. Mostly it would get covered by pilot thankfully.
Final set of the pilot seat set. I admit my pilot is not the most handsome looking out there.
sanded off and giving out some putty. I had to be careful since it is a raised panel.
I created some holes where it's supposed to be, including the ADEN cannon underside. I was going to cut some holes for the intake but I do not have the saw for it.
Primed up
First time trying pre-shading technique. Not the best result in my opinion
Painting with Tamiya X-2 White. My mistake is not thin the paint enough.
Painting with a mix of Tamiya Royal Blue and Dark Gray as per instruction.
Pre-shaded part actually went pretty well!
Assembly of Aim-9s and Additional Fuel Tank with respective decals. Along with finishing touch-up of details on the Harrier.
Putting on decals. It's thick in my personal opinion, and the 'spine' decal is prone on breaking.
Opened the canopy masking tape, needed some clean up.
Cleaning up the canopy
Applied a little weathering on the exhaust, gear also get washed, not in this photo though.
Calling it done. Just waiting to be varnished with gloss.
