Yak-9D Snap-Fit Zvezda

Album image #1
First impression: it still need glue, putty and sanding.

The cockpit has a lot of small parts, unlike the old kits (Airfix, FROG\NOVO) I've dealt with before.

Base color painting (AMT-11)

The AMT-12 paint from ZIPmaket turned out to be a Delta Sierra. As a result, I had to repaint, freak out, repaint again. I made a few mistakes when repainting. Sunday was great!

The large decals of the "Zvezda" are made normally. But there were problems with the "technical", the lacquer substrate was applied with an offset and the inscription may fall apart in the water. I applied the Decal Fix from Vallejo to small decals and it helped to carry out the transfer without loss. Now part of the "technical" is applied using vinegar-based chemicals for "welding" and alcohol to remove the lacquer substrate.
