This project started differently. After almost a month in hospital I was able to finish my workbench. I had decided to finish changing my workspace before starting a new project. So that was the first bite.

You can probably do without Ikea, but the legs from there were the easiest solution.
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/5/6/6/1690566-17651-68-720.jpg)
This is the moment when I was already happy.
![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/5/6/7/1690567-17651-74-720.jpg)
Once I had all the tools in order I could start on the models.
![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/5/6/8/1690568-17651-40-720.jpg)
I have made airplanes with smaller wings than these horizontal stabilizers.
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/5/6/9/1690569-17651-40-720.jpg)
The color for the interior isn't the most accurate, but a little of it is showing first. Second, after a tour of the shops in Sofia, I didn't find much more suitable. Actually, in the end I chose the XF-65.
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/5/7/0/1690570-17651-46-720.jpg)
I had prepared a lot of metal. I was even a little worried about the amount of it. This is the old set from Eduard.
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/5/7/1/1690571-17651-68-720.jpg)
Yellow for the tips of the propellers.
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/5/7/2/1690572-17651-65-720.jpg)
Olive green for the bombs.
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/5/7/3/1690573-17651-31-720.jpg)
Black for various other parts. In fact, they will be painted in metallic colors later.
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/5/7/4/1690574-17651-31-720.jpg)
The bombs aren't great, but I have no desire to make them better. According to doctors, being nervous is part of my illness, so I try to enjoy the project and not be too demanding about my work.
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/5/7/5/1690575-17651-78-720.jpg)
3D decals are great. I'm starting to prefer them to metal. By the way, there are some bugs in the cockpit. These aviators are at least 3 meters tall.
![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/5/7/6/1690576-17651-19-720.jpg)
Resin would probably be better, but I still like them.
![Album image #14 Album image #14](/albums/img/5/7/7/1690577-17651-70-720.jpg)
Rear cabin in color, even slightly soiled. Why don't they clean up after themselves?
![Album image #15 Album image #15](/albums/img/5/7/8/1690578-17651-69-720.jpg)
The decals are pleasing to the eye.
![Album image #16 Album image #16](/albums/img/5/7/9/1690579-17651-78-720.jpg)
Work Desk version 2.0
![Album image #17 Album image #17](/albums/img/5/8/0/1690580-17651-76-720.jpg)
There's a lot of room for clutter.
![Album image #18 Album image #18](/albums/img/5/8/1/1690581-17651-49-720.jpg)
The housing fits very well.
![Album image #19 Album image #19](/albums/img/5/8/2/1690582-17651-62-720.jpg)
The wings too. Unfortunately I have to give up my beloved Earl Grey. This is going to be one of the hard things as I heal.
![Album image #20 Album image #20](/albums/img/5/8/3/1690583-17651-26-720.jpg)
Don't ask me why I have so much foam in my warehouse.
![Album image #21 Album image #21](/albums/img/5/8/4/1690584-17651-61-720.jpg)
And so. We start with the interesting part. I promise not to get angry. The million dollar question is, "Why do Hobby 2000 make worse masks than I do?"
![Album image #22 Album image #22](/albums/img/5/8/6/1690586-17651-70-720.jpg)
The size cannot be made bigger because of the material. The PVC film, especially when it is a monomer adhesive shrinks. Oramask 811 is just right for masking, but after a year the cracks will be big. I have seen similar ones with a size difference of over a millimeter.
![Album image #23 Album image #23](/albums/img/5/8/7/1690587-17651-75-720.jpg)
After a little more work I figured out who was at fault. The mistake is stupid. I guess someone didn't put all the masks on the model. The transparent nose detail is not symmetrical. In 1991, it was a technical achievement to make such a matrix. Now we just have to check our work. And I'm not nagging. I also have mistakes with the masks I make, but usually the next day I have them already corrected. My process is slow, the models are at home, the cutting plotter is at work.
![Album image #24 Album image #24](/albums/img/5/8/5/1690585-17651-35-720.jpg)
I gave up on putting in many of the metal parts. I hope this is a temporary mood of mine. Fortunately, I quickly found someone to give them to. I'll even get an old Airfix Marauder kit in return.
![Album image #25 Album image #25](/albums/img/6/0/9/1690609-17651-53-720.jpg)
At this stage I am this far. Primer is waiting for me.
![Album image #26 Album image #26](/albums/img/6/1/0/1690610-17651-23-720.jpg)
Being a newbie to metallics, I chose an experimental plane from the scrap.
