I really liked the kit. It is very well detailed and the molds are perfect.

i added some cabling to the interior for the first time

I decided to paint the LARK colourscheme since I always have troubles with bigger decals. Thankfully the difference is barely noticeable since I still used some of the decals on the front since they were offering some more details.
Ofcourse I screw up the painting, here I forgot to mask off the two small bright red stripes, so I had to paint the panel white, then red again then mask it , and then again paint metal grey. Will I ever learn ?

The painting itself went very well according to my standards. I was able to rectify all of the mistakes.

Here the top is painted gunmetal gray, and on the bonnet is a decal. Since both colours are a bit apart from each other you cannot tell the difference. On the second thought I should have painted the hood also and just added the photoetch hood pins. Maybe next time 🙂

i did not like the fabric of the seatbelts, so I just did the seatbelts by painting the masking tape and cutting to size. I should have picked a different shade of blue, but I tried with this one and then I was too tired to redo with the correct one.

I added a lot of wiring to the engine bay. There was also an ugly plastic seam on the exhaust which I taped with 1mm masking tape and then added some rust pigment to it. I never thought it would work and I had no alu foil to wrap it properly. Still, it looks 1000 times better like that than with ugly seams

I am especially proud of the "telephone coil" wire that I added to the steering wheel. Its just a thin copper wire wrapped around another thin wire, then shaped and painted semi gloss black 🙂

I was in a hurry when I applied clear coat. The result: too hot. Some decals melted. Also metallic paint reacted not in a good way

I added the photoetched rivets and the metal edge of the spoiler, not sure if the latter was necessary but I was desperate to reuse at least something from the fujimi photoetch kit
