General Dynamics F-16A Fighting Falcon by Revell in 1/72 scale. I have been wanting to make an F-16 for some time now and found this one while clearing out my late brother's house. It must be quite a few years old but was still sealed and so complete. I built it straight from the box and chose one of the RNethAF schemes. I certainly had no intention of attempting the Spitfire-adorned example on the box artwork - those decals would have been a nightmare! One half of the engine intake was missing, but Revell kindly supplied a replacement free of charge even though this version is not currently available. I made a few mistakes along the way and made a mess of the walkway markings on the upper wing, but overall I'm pleased with it and like to think my brother would have approved.
