Il-2M3 Sturmovik

Album info
This is Dakoplast's Il-2M3. It has a curious mix of crude moulding and fine detail. The parts arrangement is really odd on this one: the center wing to fuselage join, the air induction ramp for the engine...
I added some detail in the cockpit, rescribed some panel lines which were too faint and used a spare machine gun from ICM's Katiuska.
Added the pitot and 23mm guns from microtubing, and the radio antenna from Uschi fine rigging thread.
It is not really accurate, or I could not really understand, which "zavod" is this one. So the markings might be inaccurate for the version. Markings are painted the best I could. It is painted after one of the Sturmoviks which were photographed flying over Berlin in May 1945. The fuselage logo stands for "avenger".
