Album info
This machine represents the colouring of Czechoslovak Avia at the end of the 1930s, before the Munich Crisis. The upper surfaces are khaki, the lower ones sprayed with aluminium bronze. The lower surface of the upper wing is also khaki. The blue and white eagle is the emblem of Aviation Regiment 2, the letter G indicates the squadron affiliation, the number 1 is the number on the aircraft in the squadron. The blue tip of the propeller cone is also a squadron affiliation mark, however the colouring of the propeller cones was not an official marking. The machine is known from a crash on 6 September 1937, when, piloted by Sgt. Julius Zaoral, it collided in mid-air with Avia B.534.35, piloted by Lance Corporal Jaroslav Šodek.
