Augie,, do you have an Artist silver pencil, if yes...sharpen the tip, then rub the tip over the instrument rings etc. this will provide a highlight quick and easily without making a mess over the surounding panel. Either silver or light grey around the panel edges and other items to highlight the edge. The other alternative is dry brushing either silver or light grey over the items to highlight. What you have done looks good, keep going.

That is a good idea, I will have to try that. Never even thought of it. I have always used a tooth pick to pick out the details.

The silver pencil also works well for applying scratches to paintwork as long as it's kept sharp.Another good way to apply scratches,scuffed paintwork is to use bits of sponge with almost dry paint on and to dab on the surface.
