I have fotograph all displays in the museum, so I have more photos. I can say, it is a really interessting, but it needs a lot of time for uploading them.

@Arne: are you using a Mac laptop? Because by default it does auto-rotate but ONLY on screen. The actual file will still be either portrait or landscape (depending on how the picture was taken). If you are using a MacBook, you should probably disable the auto-rotate function, or you will never be able to see the actual contents of the image file, hence unable to correct the orientation 😉

Maybe the program does auto-rotate then? It must be something like that, where the image get rotated by the application. Image orientation is stored in image EXIF information, which is then read by the program, which rotates the image on-screen.

Weird problem 😛 but we'll figure it out somehow 😉

Talks about the auto-rotate function in IrfanView based on EXIF information. You should disable it.
