GaryThanks Holger. BTW a little bit of silver was added to the lt grey underside.. I read somewhere that the paint had a little bit of silver added to the real bird. I guess to make it more refective to nuclear blast.Gary

The F-104G model is a combination of two kits. The fusalage and wings arefrom the old Monogram F-104C kit and the empanouge is from the old Revell F-104 C/G kit that came with 2 tails. The decals, although old,worked well from the Revell kit. Nav lights were added to the fusalage. The extra wing tip tanks were added to the lower wing with the mounts from a F-100 kit. Fading of the orange on the tip tanks was done with white oils.
The Fw-190 is the newer Monogram relase from about 15 yrs ago. It's mostley OOB.
