Thanks fellas 🙂 I appreciate your support. I've toned down the wash a little bit. Previous state was too much in my book. I've added PE parts to the seat and painted ejection handles on both sides. I just noticed that one of the panels is leaning to the side, so it will need a little correction. After that, I will apply satin varnish all over the cockpit and use some drybrush in order to highlight raised details.

Thanks gents 🙂
@Hanno, it's GSI Mr. Color C337 (FS35237), therefore not recommended color, but I didn't have C305 and this one somewhat matches the color of the prepainted PE parts.

Thanks mates, the building progress continues with assembly of the fuselage, vertical stabilizers and wings. Current state is right before application of surfacer over seams and corrected lines.

Oh well, countless round spent on repairs of the surface, primer didn't show anything bad and then the aluminium color shows many scratches.

nice progress... Metallic finishes aren't the most easy ones... Will you add extra colors/shades on different panels? There are some blemishes on the left behind the canopy and I think just in front of the canopy (that last one is really nitpicking)

@Bart I am planning to make very subtle shades here and there. The real bird was painted with silver color, so the different shades were mostly on the covers and access panels. I am about to polish the surface and get rid of those scratches.
Thanks for your comments chaps 🙂

Stencils, stencils everywhere. I do realize that stencils, especially on the jets, are not very popular milestone of the building progress and majority of modelers is happy when they can avoid them, but guess what? Eduard's kit lack any stencils, but I love this part of the project, so I've obtained brand new decal sheet from the Armycast M&M and spent beautiful day busy with placing whopping 82 stencils all over the MiG 🙂 Hope you like it.

Thanks Soeren, my loyal fan 😄
@Hanno, thanks for your kind words. The primer is quite common - Gunze Mr. Surfacer 1000.

Stunning work, David! I'm building the Airfix kit (new tool) and this is so much better. And you've really taken it to the next level. Wow!
