Thanks Hanno. Needs a bit of a brighten up after spraying the fuselage. I was worried about applying the decals as they are very thin but they went on great.

Thanks Martien. Took about 4-5 attempts to get all the struts sorted. The tail wing is crooked which I'll attempt to warm up and correct hopefully without breaking it. Bit of varnish under the wings, rigging and possibly painting the white of the cross on the wings as the lozenges show through. Coming together slowly.

Thanks Kerry. I wouldn't say that my attention to detail is very high compared to some of the work on here but I'm happy with the results I get for the time I can put in and my talents and knowledge allows. It gets better each model. 🙂
As an example, I looked at a build of this kit online and the guy noted that the aft profile of the wings are far too thick so he sanded them down to a finer profile, while I don't know much about these planes I can understand what he's talking about. It gives the plane a clunky look. My point is that I don't really have the time or space to worry about that much detail. I really admire people who can dedicate the time and their well honed skills to such a fine and exact outcome but that's not me unfortunately.
I get what I need from the hobby and that's what it's about in the end...enjoyment.....and money 🙂

Thank you Gordon. It's the first timber prop I've done and I'm pretty happy with it. Didn't do too much to the engine apart from brass tube for the exhaust outlets.

This is a really wonderful thing you have produced here Ben. The 'frailty' of it is nicely replicated mate, fine and delicate. L really like it. 🙂 👍 👍 👍.

Thanks Kerry, much appreciated. As I mentioned before, it's a bit of a clunker of a kit but there's so much I like about the plane.

Just came across your model: nicely done!
But I noticed a small mistake, the ailerons should have a deflection in opposite direction. If you have wires in may be you can bend it.
