Hunter color modulation comment in 3,2,1... 😄 😛
Great Panzerjäger 👍 One point- you are missing the back Notek light.
What I mean: Panzerjäger I DAK | Album by Herb (1:35) ( top of the engine deck)

Nice Model, George 👍
@ Hunter. I've photo evidence of Panzerjäger I, without them 😉 😎 Maybe in the thick of the battle someone kicked it 😄

@Rui: Of course you have, because early ones did not have the Notek light installed 😉 But this one has the front light and this is the only reason I mentioned the missing back light.

I think its a absolute superb build and a nice finish! As usual, very well done George!
If I look at pictures (or much better movies) of the early tanks they just look like that. Well maintained, ready for action.
Maybe they don't have a replacement Notek light at this moment. .... 😉

Maybe the rivets rusted out that held it in place. ;-/

George, I bet you had a ton of fun doing what you did, as it certainly does look a well thought out build.
Every piece of it says 'attention to detail'. 🙂👍 👍 🙂

Thanks for the comments everyone! 🙂 Obviously, the rear notek light was victim to a sniper... 😄

Thanks Albi! 🙂 I was inspired by a profile photo of the real thing (SS Leibstandarte) on parade in France early in the war. It was a fairly clean machine...

You are welcome Sormani. Good luck with the model, and don't forget the rear notek light 😉 . Hope you post some pictures!

@H K, I've also photo evidence of one 2. Kompanie Abtlg. Schonberger of the Brigade Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler in Russia, summer 1941, with the front one, but without the rear. Don't really know if it's a early version one or not 😉 😎 And another Panzerjäger I in Karmanovo area. Summer 1943 😄

I think Italeri as a problem with these rear NOTEK lights. (NIGHT DRIVING SYSTEM, for convoys developed by Nova Technik G.M.B.H. Munich. lt enabled vehicles to keep to correct station in convoy, ideally about 30 metres; lt was extensively used as it was virtually undetectable from the air, or over 200 metres at ground level.) I also had to find one for my completed Italeri Elephant 😉

Album info

An old build (about 2003?) from the Italeri kit. Did a little scratchbuilding (screens, bits and pieces on the interior and gun breach).
