What is the material that you used for camouflage, like pongo?

Mike very impressive & clean build. How's the details & fittings of this kit?

Beautiful work on that camoscheme and detailing, love the orange striping ! I don´t suppose the instrument panel decals were part of this old kit,
are they homeprinted ?

Very nice, as per usual, Migrant. Your detailing is so above and beyond mine. I did this kit in the US Army colors, on floats. I love your use of the hi-viz markings. DHC is one of my favorites...it's nice to see Viking continue the line.

What can be built from old kits for chic models yet . Just nice to look at . 👍

Great looking Beaver, Mike. I've built mine some years ago in U.S.Army livery.

You are starting to scare me Mike! This is a seriously neat and tidy Beaver from a lovely old Airfix model (silk purse from sows ear?). If I could only produce half the same as good....

Thanks a lot guys! 🙂
@Alberto I'm not familiar with pongo, but I'm guessing you're referring to the BluTack masking material.
@Rolando Considering the age of the kit, it went together really well. There were a lot of raised rivets which I sanded off, but the overall fit was pretty good.
@Hanno The instrument panel decals were from my Cockpit Details range
@Kelly Your floatplane Beaver looks really nice 👍

Hi Mike yes it is! Thank you very much!!!
However compliments, the model is really nice!

Very nicely done! If I am not mistaken this kit comes with floats too. I was thinking about building this kit in a civilian version. Any pitfalls to look out for when building?

Amazing as always! It looks like another kit and another scale. Maestro.

Oh Man - instead of drawing the boxarts they should use your pics to attract buyers
29 April 2016, 13:17

Only if the models included a tiny Mike Grant to build it to that finish too! 🙂
