Thanks Marko, excellent decals that go down well. Then a Tamiya panel line wash. Few sand and dark earth pigments where the feet will be. It's meant to be a Baltic plane but, artistic licence!

I'm in! Can't resist a 48th Flanker... That cockpit REALLY looks nice man.

I wonder how you did for the cockpit.... I've take a look at it ans it's really tiny !!!
First I thout this cockpit was poor. But when I see the A-10 one from Italeri, the HB looks soooooooo detailed ! I've bought a Aires seat for this Su-27 🙂

Seat is ok. Scratch built a bit. But just wanted to get on with it so went OOB except for a master pitot tube because I always snap the plastic ones. Cockpits are my favourite part!!

Ya know, I always find it fascinating to hear of other modellers' favorite and least favorite things to do. See, for me, I really don't enjoy doing cockpits, nor am I particularly good at it.... or landing gear, or seamwork (ok, most people don't like doing seamwork LOL). I really enjoy painting and weathering, and even decaling (as long as there are not a thousand stencils LOL).

I hate seams too, filling sanding and bloody rescribing drive me insane! I am not very good at it at all. This is why this model is amazing, low part count and amazing fit.
Decalling is my second favourite job. Especially now I have solvaset. That stuff is amazing!

You both could fool me on your dislikes, by the caliber of your work. I myself love cockpits, I think they are the thing I do best. Though I am getting more confident with the airbrush, I think the 104 I am building now is my best paint job so far. I know I need to get some Pic's up, I will tomorrow LOL.
