Very nice work Michael! I want to do a Screwtops bird too with my kit. I am very eager to hear your thoughts on this kit and also the Authentic Decals. I've heard conflicting reviews of them...

Thanks Michael & James, I started this a couple of years ago and the build was coming along pretty good until one day I had the fuselage sprayed in primer and made a very foolish mistake of hanging it by the tail. With over 100gm (I think it was) of lead under and behind the cockpit she fell straight to the hardwood floor, smashing the clear nose section and other damage so she got put away. I was bored of building my 1/48 Hasegawa F/A-18 so I thought I'd give her another shot. I just hope I can stay interested in long enough to get her finished and on a carrier deck, then I'll build a glass cover to go over the hole thing because with the wings extended she's a bit bigger than I thought she was going to be. Should have her ready for the paint shop soon, just the clear parts need to go on and attach the wings which I've added extra support.

Hopefully I'll have my blinkers on tonight when I work on her again and don't go searching the stash for one of my Tomcats.😢
