Thank you guys, but it´s far from flawless. Lots of spots i need to tackle the next days. Luckily you don´t see them on the pictures. 😛

Thank you, David, for your kind reply. It is a white sprue Revell 1:72 Airbus EC 135 ANWB. I wanted something civilian, for a change... I might consider Citadel Mechanics Standard Grey for primer. Wish me luck.
Watching your project, I btw recently purchased a F4U-4 Corsair, which I imagine did Korea until 1953. Not sure, but it is a nice Revell kit.
My stash is divided between my future wife's place and my own "Man-Cave", so I need a heads up for what I actually have.
Thanx for the advice. Nice '-51' your on. That metal finish is awesome. Keep it up and keep in touch.

Thanks Spanjaard and Stefan! I hope i get the parts done that need some touch-ups. That would be the left wing and the undersides of the right wing. The silver was too thick in some areas and i had to sand it down a bit. And I'm thinking about redoing the spinner, since i don´t like how the duraluminum turned out on it. Not very shiny on one side.
Stefan if you plan to do the helicopter in yellow, you might want to go for white primer, depending on the colors you want to use. Yellow is hard to get an even coat on anything but white.

Yellow depends mostly in the coverage that the paint give, and how it is used. Yesterday I was painting white over black primer, and it was pretty easy. I wanted it to have a "used" look, do it is not fully white. But it would have been achieved with just another thin layer (some areas are already white). It was Tamiya XF-2 over Vallejo black primer. I may post pictures of that tonight
Somebody posted a really good YouTube video about that subject a few days ago, I will try to find it later.

Sadly, i have to put this project on hold. The decals just dissolve in water. I wrote a mail to Tamiya Germany and really hope there is a way to get a new decal sheet. Especially since this kit was so much fun to build so far and i am quite pleased with the results.

Hopefully you will get a replacement. If not, aftermarket is an option. Or perhaps somebody in SCM could provide spare/unused decals like the ones you need?

Really hope on a reply from Tamiya, however i intend to give them all the time they need to reply. I will keep myself busy with a 1:72 Super Hornet. 🙂

So far, no reply from Tamiya Germany. Does anyone have experience with Tamiya concerning the issue of decals dissolving upon contact with water and getting a replacement sheet? Or maybe, like Spanjaard suggested, is there anyone with a spare sheet on scm? Any help is really appreciated! 🙂
