Nostalgia... I was 10 or so and build mid 70's this kit. I remember that in this time in comparison with the crude Plasticarts it was "State of the art" 🙂. Excellent result Thomas. Hmmm, raised panel lines and rivets in original? Do you add new panel lines?

Hallo Bernhard!

Wow, nostalgia indeed. Very well done! I have this kit in my stash (for nostalgia purposes only), and must say that it's very, very rough. It's one of the first KP kits, and it shows. You have done a marvelous job 👍

Thank you all! Normally i am finishing such kits just before a good kit appears on the market. 🙂 But i feel good with my KP. The Nostalgia. The few. The happy. I love it because it is different.

There is an interesting story about how the L-29 became the standard trainer for the Warsaw Pack air forces. There were three entries: L-29, Yak-30, and TS-11 Iskra. Although not favored to win (Yak design was considered to be the lead design), L-29 won the competition (Poland abstained and put into service its TS-11). L-29 Delfin's successor, the L-39 Albatros, continued the tradition.

Excellent result. Specially if the kit was not as today's standards
