Beautiful 109. I appreciate the step-by-step pics of the masking. Can I ask what airbrush you use for the mottling? It looks perfect.

It looks fantastic! 👍 Great work on the alignment of the paint masks!
What masking paper/material do you use in your cameo? It looks semi-transparent. I've used Tamiya's masking paper, but it is hard to do really small detail masks with it.

Thx everyone. Can you believe this was my first try at German mottled camouflage in whole my modeling career. Still got a lot to learn.
@ John Hoffmann, I use the Iwata CM-SB for all the delicate stuff.
@Björn Svedberg, I also tries Tamiya tape with mixed results. It is also hard to align because you can hardly see through it. Now I use something like friskit that I buy in a Lucas Creative store. It works better, but for small details the Cameo isn't really suited I think. For that you should use a high end expensive machine.

Started this kit years ago (2003) but never got past the cockpit. After reading the book A higher call it got me thinking of building Franz Stiglers machine. It was such an inspiration that it took me only a couple of weeks to get the painting done.
