Hi, thanks mate... Yes these are the Red Box figures... Impossible to sand cleanly because they are very soft... But the details are wellmade

Thank you Guys... refills my Mojo for this woderful Hobby..
Iam still looking for a alternative canopy .. Pavla is not the thing and Falcon nearly not to get.
And even the Sword Kit of the Shoki-II is not available any more to use the Canopy of it.. Any idea?

Hey Alec, thanks a lot... Just saw it and did some short googling to find out that they have nothing in common with the Pavla products .. They are part of the OWL company. And they have a nearly full range in every scale...wow.
How could i miss that..? Thank you mate I will give it a go. You can order zhis directly in the owl-shop

Thanks Guys, much apprciated.. Despite of its Age it still a good Kit and with a little aftermarket and
tuning one can make a real cutie of this. The basic kit was released in 1972. HArd to believe with the fine recessed Panellines. Ok the overall detail is surely not todays game. I really enjoied the build and the
many positive reactions are just my cherry on the cake... THx all

Daniel, one more time, fantastic result. It seems that the interiors of the kit are quite simple. How did you do them?

@Cuajete Thanky you very much again 🙂 Yes the interior is not there with the original kit.
I used an old True Details cockpit set and the eduard PE set for it.

I really like the way that looks. That cork base with the grass tufts is something I am going to have to try. Thanks for sharing this great diorama.

Album info
It is the old Hales Kit from the 70's with etching parts from eduard and a Pavla clear vax canopy.
Was a relaxing an fun built
It is the machine of Yoshida showing him signing his 6th kill and his mechanic repainting the hinomaru.
I am looking for a new Vax canopy by Falcon because the Pavla ones arent really the best, and though i am quiet satisfied with the result with this old kit, i will rework the cockpit area and the Canopy because it downs the overall impression to me.
