Thank you guys! The pictures were taken with my smart phone. So the picture quality is not so good and the water appears not so good. Next time I´ll use a better camera.

A major player in the novel is the USS Pharris, a Knox-class ASW frigate. I´m using the 1/350 kit from Orange Hobby. The model comes with a lot of details and will not nees much improvement except the decals and hullnumbers which a friend will draw and print for me. After the assembling of the mast which was quite challenging and time consuming the hull itself goes together pretty fast. But before i can go on with it I needed to create the waterbase.
I shaped the waves roughly from Styropor and applied a layer of AK´s Texture for rough terrain. After painting it with several blues, light blues, turquoises and white I sealed all with a layer of Water Gel transparent.
