Thanks guys, just bare in mind it was tedious and hard, and mayve post-shading would get the same results with less stress... still, good to know that some people think I have painting skills

I was going to say that I've never got the hang of post-shading, but to be honest I haven't got the hang of pre-shading. I've bookmarked this as a how-to.
