This car deserves better pics😉 Do you take it again under your hands to improve it a little more? Thinking of the rims in first place. With an anthracite painting and the holes black it would look a little better.

To be fair to Chris I find those Chevy Rallye rims hard to make look nice on anything but a 3/4 view (like on the box) they just don't look right to me.
Their only saving grace is the deep dish/offset but that's still only from one angle.

The center cap and outer ring are chrome. the rim itself is like a silver/aluminum color. with blacked out slots. Similar to some Mopar rims .

The 3 piece rallys are easy. 1968 Chevelle SS 396 (resin) | Album by musclecarfan The one piece chrome are harder. '69 Camaro SS/RS convertible | Album by musclecarfan

This was my 6th build ever... I'm going to keep this in mind for future cars, but these rims are done. If you want more pics, I can do that but it'll have to wait until I break out the photo booth for the Diablo...

Only your 6th??? I've done hundreds & they're all rubbish compared to that Chris

Jep. My 6th model kit I can't even remember. But it was not that good I think. It lasted long to give them shiny ping jobs. I'm thinking about my 6th model. Maybe it drives into my mind.

That looks great for the 6th. My first dozen were in grade school and met catastrophic ends.

Also, that one was all hand painted... I didn't have my air brush yet 😛

March 12th of last year, the '40 Ford standard coupe was the first model I ever tried. 😄 🙂

Last year! Then take a look to the Lamborghini Diablo - great progress!

It is awesome to see how much people progress on here, but I have to say a lot of it is because the people here on this site.

This is handpainted? With the good ´ol hairy stick? Remakable! I only spray because my brush skills are bad! LOL😄
3 July 2019, 13:36

Yeah, I made myself paint 10 cars with a brush before I spent the $$$ on the airbrush and hobby gear proper. I really wanted to make sure that the hobby was something that I would enjoy before dropping bank on supplies... I'm on project 43 and I still enjoy it. 😄
